Anybody ever heard of a comb around here?  What kind of parents do you have, anyway?

Today was Kate’s first day of preschool! She still seems so tiny, but she was ready to go. When daddy dropped her off she didn’t cry (or even seem to mind that he was leaving) and apparently she didn’t cry all day. Nicky watched out for her and showed her all the ropes. She lined up and sat at lunch and went to sleep like a pro and had a great job playing with all the jobs. When I went to pick her up she was right up at the front of circle at story time. What a brave little girl.

Yes, you read that right….San Mateo has a Bacon & Brew Festival. In addition to the obvious and delicious bacon & brew, there is also music and dancing. And when your kids give you a running hug after dancing you can have it all: dancing, bacon & brew…right in your lap. Worth it.
