We knew she was up to something when we left her on her play mat and came back to find her in the middle of the room.  Either she got up and walked or she figured out how to roll both ways. Bets, anyone?

Check that…all I had to do was post the words “baby Kate hasn’t rolled over yet” and two days later she’s rolling like a champ.  She went from not even close to easily rolling over back to front in the span of 48 hours.  Nice work!

We went to the goat farm last weekend (pictures here). Nicky loved getting hot chocolate on the way there and seeing all the brand new baby goats.

Baby Kate hasn’t rolled over yet, but she’s starting to work on preliminary scooting around and sitting. If you prop her in just the right position she can stay up for a couple seconds already. She’ll be moving around before we know it (and probably before we’re ready for it!).

Kate started solids last week. She’s really not very interested, although we’re starting with rice cereal (ICK!) so I can’t say that I blame her for her lack of interest. So far she’s pretty good at clamping down her lips to block me and spitting everything back out that I manage to slip in!
