You are getting way too big! I can’t believe you’re already 18 months old. You talk and walk and run and jump and you’re not a baby anymore at all. When did that happen?
This month was very fun for all of us. You are communicating so much more. You are learning new words and sounds every day (personally, the fake burping is my least favorite of your noises, but i guess that just comes with the territory of having an older brother). you are really good at answering yes or no to questions, which is really helpful for us to figure out what’s going on in your head. of course, your favorite word is “no”, especially when it comes to eating. The woman who watches you during the week taught us a cool trick though. She’s always claimed she’s been able to get you to eat your broccoli, which I’ve never believed because I offer it to you EVERY SINGLE DAY and you’ve turned your nose up at it every time. Turns out you’ll eat it as a pre-dinner snack. Now that I know it’s just a timing thing you are in for it…you are going to wish I never learned that trick!
You absolutely LOVE to read books this month and are always ordering us to “read this book”. So cute. You love to play with all of Nicky’s giant trucks and the two of you are constantly pushing a variety of construction trucks and fire trucks around the house. You’ve figured out how to get all your clothes off and we have to be pretty creative in the outfits we choose for you if we don’t want you spending the whole day naked at daycare. You also love to run around outside and are constantly demanding “outside”. It might have something to do with the fact that you get to wear shoes outside and you just love your shoes. You’ve also taken to scooting around the neighborhood on Nicky’s scooter. It’s so precious to see such a little thing zipping around on her own like such a big girl.
Sweet heart, I can’t wait to see how you grow up. You’re so sweet and snugly but you have such a saucy, bossy side to you too. You’re pretty special!
Love you bunny!
