The SD Zoo was a less successful venture. I had such good memories of this zoo, but it turns out it’s just a zoo. And a huge zoo at that. And a hot zoo! Nick was pretty uninterested in all the animals…all he wanted to do was get on the double decker shuttle bus, but of course we started off the wrong direction, so every bus that passed by was going back to the main entrance. I finally gave in and we climbed on to ride back the way we had come, which was pretty much the highlight of the zoo. 🙂
