We went to our first football game of the year. The kids did SO much better than last year, so hopefully we can get a few games in this year!

Our favorite Monday morning activity: watching garbage trucks.

I have no idea what was going on in these pictures, but they crack me up.

Kate came up with a new trick this summer when she figured out how to hold me hostage in the Target parking lot. I couldn’t go in the store because she was having a fit. I also couldn’t leave the parking lot because she didn’t want to be in her car seat and every time I started to drive away she unbuckled her seat belt. Check mate.

Fun day at the park. We love scooting the skateboard park!

Back at home, just watching the grass grow.

When we weren’t wearing ourselves out at the theme parks we spent a lot of quality relaxation time at the beach, which was right outside our condo. Perfection.  Do we have to go home?

We capped off the trip with a day at California Adventure so we could go to Cars Land. Once we got there Nick was too scared to take a picture with the Cars characters, but he did love watching them from a distance. Kate loved the characters though. When she met Mickey it was like she was reconnecting to her long lost best friend…they hugged for about 5 minutes. So cute!
