We had a fun and festive Christmas. The kids didn’t wake up too early…Kate tried to get up at 5:48 but I heard Nicky whispering to her, “shh, Kate, you’re going to scare away the reindeer.” Luckily, the reindeer weren’t scared off and it turned out both kids were on Santa’s good list. Santa brought Nicky his “big present”: a remote control monster truck, which turned out to be exactly what Nicky had wanted! Kate got a stroller, which has been in high use ever since. We opened a HUGE pile of presents in the morning and then spent the rest of the day playing with our new toys, spending good family time and eating.
Excited on Christmas Eve, right before bed.
