Kate is 6 months old! Wow, time flies when you’re not getting sleep. Our little princess is starting to sleep better at night. We’re down to typically one wake up per night (never zero, sometimes two), which means that one parent usually gets a full night of sleep every other day. What a difference that makes! She’s still a dainty little drinker but she likes her solids and is getting 3 big meals a day. As a result, she’s only a tiny 15 pounds 1 ounce (31st percentile), but she’s extra long at 27 inches (93rd percentile). Apparently I was a scrawny baby too and the doctor’s not worried so I’m trying my hardest not to worry too much! Little Kate rolls everywhere and likes to play with Nicky’s toys which has caused some distress for her brother. Preview for the next phase in their relationship: sharing… I sense much refereeing in my future… She’s just started to sit and she loves to be able to look aroud the room from a little higher vantage point. She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES her daddy and goes absolutely berserk when she sees him. It’s been a fun 6 months!
